Chavirés is a movement of overturning: a spiraling motion that disorients, from which emerges the past, the present, illusions and origins. Each moment has its own language and its own colors, which, in Avanzinelli’s gaze, fade, dissolve, and stain, yet ultimately come to speak the same language: a relentless and uncompromising search for what has been lost, overlooked, or forgotten.
It is not only a language of images: the texts, too, carry the same mark and the same imaginative force, brushing against abstraction.
